AMF is the first to design and reinsure an employer sponsored international health plan option. Financial incentives are provided to encourage care in Costa Rica and other countries where savings can exceed 70%. Our unique plan designs enable routine and emergency care to be provided domestically for the convenience of plan participants. Surgery performed abroad can be performed by U.S. board certified physicians / surgeons at Joint Commission International (JCI) accredited hospitals. This is the same commission that provides accredation for United States hospitals.
